Jimmy Chaney I worked with Lynn on trying to find a replacement engine for my gravely zero turn. My engine did not have any markings on it. John Burns I just swapped out the 6 hp Tecumseh on my Troybilt rototiller for the 7hp Kohler from FLG parts. It was every bit as easy as described. The only issue that I ran into was driving out the engine mount pins, as sometime in the past 30 or 40 years, someone mushroomed the tops out. If you run into that, you can grind off the part that stops you, or drive them out from the bottom, but in this case, there was still enough room to mount the engine with the bracket still on the tiller. Otherwise, installed the engine, filled the oil, put in some gas and fired it right up. Very impressed with FLG and the Kohler engine!!

Claire Clark Lynn, You were right. I coiled up that spade end wire we talked about and the New Kawasaki FH721VS24S started right up. I want to thank you for being out there with your special knowledge and support. I now am enjoying my repowered Troybilt tiller and my 61 “ Bunton. I have also included pictures of the location on both engines that differ, just so you can know.

When installing my new motor today I discovered that the pieces of plastic that I had seen in the bottom of the box after receiving were from the engine housing cover. I thought maybe you had some plastic from the repacking you said that you do. Evidently ups had dropped as per attached pictures. Please let me know what I need to get replacement.
